SAMR Model - How

In our USQ studydesk week 3, another link of video from YouTube mentioned the same theory of SAMR Model at this link  SAMR in 120 Seconds.

To my understanding about the SAMR model will help me to think about the quality of our ICT and Pedagogy. Eventually it will also help me to identify avenues for improvement.

When we use the SAMR model, how does it suppose to give us some clues to what might be better examples and reasons. Later it will go along to Assignment 2 and 3, also during our Professional Experience.

In module 2 and 3 which after the submission of our first assignment then we move into serious thinking about how to able design and implement ICT and Pedagogy in our teaching

The TEST Framework is a model. In week 3 you'll be introduced a bit more to TPACK and SAMR. These are counted as models for this course.

TPACK (Technology, Pedagogy and Content Knowledge) is also another acronym and is one to think about the type of knowledge required to make the most effective use of ICTs and Pedagogy.

Meanwhile, SMAR model refer this link

Review back on previous learning pathMost of the activities on the week 1,2 and 3 learning path are related to the web-based artefact - part 2 of Assignment 1. Most of the learning path does go along with activities about what to involved in finding good reasons for web-based artefact, this is why it is linked to our USQ StudyDesk 6 Coming up Good reasons.

Final week before submission next week for my assignment...as Queen Ni's blog also mentioned about her journal regarding this assignment.

Ms Kim Ng drafted this and I check on it as my checklist to complete for my assignment.

1.    A description of your teaching context.

- Describe what you know about the context.
- The year level and anything we, the marker may know about the it
- Good to include discussion of your students especially when it links to reasons
and examples of ICT integration you are going to use. (You may want to discuss
about your students characteristic)

2.    No more than three reasons why you would integrated ICTs into students' learning within that context.

- The idea is that the reasons why you would integrate ICTs into your teaching should match the context.
- Example, you may want to teach English to your context integrating ICTs
- So your reasons should connect back to English.
- What other factors in the context are going to influence why you might use ICTs?

3.  Examples of ICT integration to illustrate your three reasons.

- Linking to existing examples you have found via the methods you identified
above
- You may want to quote from other educator's successes by using the chosen
example device, apps or websites to use.
