MIND MAP - Don't torch that.

Using ICT in the classroom helps students to enhance in their learning content. ICT used a tool in enhancing the literacy development of competent text user as I watching this video.

Some general advice on thinking about our reasons

o   Are the reasons of interested to a parent/guidance to see it as important? What will they understand? Refer to the link StudyDesk 6_Think Parent_NeedsForChildrenICT

Using ICT in the classroom teaches students to utilise the variety of technology, tools and apps that can be used in early years (computers, tablets, blogging, videos, etc). It is an integral part of children’s everyday live.

This raises for me this question as I thinking about the reasons for 3 artefacts.

o   What is it about student learning in my chosen context, that ICTs could help?
o   What are my reasons for my artefact any good in the student learning?
o   What is it about learning language in Prep to year 2 that ICTs can help with?
o   What do people have difficulty with when learning about language for young children? Are the common problems?

How should the reasons be appropriate for our chosen teaching context? How should our artefact deal with this reasons using ICT?

More information from StudyDesk about  Web-based Artefact

However, the aim here is to convince the parents, so you may wish to think about what is going to engage the parents or responds to the common concerns that they may have. The main focus in assignment of our reasons should be to explain to the parents of your learners how ICTs will improve/transform student learning in your context. Perhaps the best way to explain why and how is to offer real life examples.

I drafted a mind map about the artefact is meant to explain why and how you are using ICTs with students in classroom.
