Back to College - First semester 2014.

Today is our first day attending EDC3100 at SEGi. 

However, it was also a shocking news once to know an airplane has gone missing with 298 passengers on board with the rest of crews.

My mind is "numb" and unbelievable attitude that caused me not to believe such incident ever happen. Or should I say "It is impossible, wait until the news announced official by our country ministers"....see the myths I could have on this news, could it be reliable on what I heard and read thru my smartphone's message I received (ICT helps of course)

I agree with what is being shared by frangemmell's blog saying that it is all about attitudes. 

So, we are back to reality, our lecturer Ms. Kim Ng did as usual explain to us what is the assignment based on the following module stated below.

Module 1 - What and why?

The focus of Module 1 has been on helping you develop knowledge of: What? and, What is "ICT and Pedagogy"? What is possible with ICT and Pedagogy? Why? Why would you use ICT and Pedagogy?

Module 2 - how to plan?

Next week we start Module 2. The title of Module 2 is "Planning to be effective teachers using ICTs". i.e. Module 2 is focused on how you plan the use of ICT and Pedagogy. You start thinking about how you can take the what and why from Module 1 and turn it into actual student learning in the form of a unit plan.

Module 3 - how to implement?

Later in the semester we take this "how" one step further and focus explicitly on how you will actually teach using ICT and Pedagogy when on Professional Experience.

The whole process of completion of this Assignment 1 is just to make connection by collaborating with other EDC3100 students both online and offline using ICT as tools to widen our knowledge and skills.
