Learning Experiences - Teaching Strategies with ICTs (Module 2 wrap up)

Before continue my reading Preparing to Professional Practise in Week 8, the below is summary of Module 2 which cover from Week 4, 5 and 8 concerning some of the requirement to the Assignment 2

Refer to Vicki's forum replied to Amber on 14 April 2014, there are two areas we need to concern - Australian curriculum and the Standard Descriptor for each criteria that matches learning objective for each assessment on learning outcome in the UoW

What is the evidence I need to produce for teaching into learning?

David shared at the forum It outlines two important questions that you need to ask yourself about the use of ICTs in your unit plan
  1. What's the purpose of using the ICTs?
  2. How well will your learning experiences (Vicki's forum) fulfil that purpose?

The bottom 2 are where you copy and paste the content descriptors (if you are using the AC).

Extracted from USQ Study Desk. > Learning Plan  (click here to brief video about A1)

For a 5 week unit you should have about 4 of these and you need to ensure they represent both

  • Constructing knowledge (learning about concepts, facts and procedures)
  • Transforming knowledge (learning to do skills and processes).  This indicates your direct link to the syllabus.

This selection of content based on my writing (top left-hand box) to think about the 'scoping statement' by having ICT to incorporate into the learning outcome., e.g Annotated
This is where you say, 'At the beginning of the unit students will learn about...' and finish with writing 'By the end of the unit students should be able to...
Stage 1 is where you develop your essential questions - questions that if answered in sequence ensure that students have done the learning described in your scope and listed in your copies of the content descriptors.

Stage 2 is to REMEMBER in the mind of teacher is to teach children about leaning skills. Plan about my assessment in the unit plan (DIAGNOSTIC - NAPLAN/Nature of Student Learning) or (Formative/Summative Assessment-Feedback Peers/Reflection Journal/Practice - to help in sequencing learning related to Knowledge Understanding)

Stage 3 is where the topics of my Learning Experiences (not necessary for every week) when to build the Learning Plan
