Week 3 (4) Selecting Tool - web-based for my artefact

Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak unveiled the plan to embed ICT in teaching and learning for teachers, students, and parents through the expansion under the National Education Blueprint 2013-2025.

Why is ICT integrating into the early childhood curriculum?
What is the implementing and integrating need to be purposeful meaning using ICT in classroom?
How is the implement of ICT going to change in their learning and teaching?

I going to use the Toolbelt theory on the TEST framework to scaffold my thinking about the above 3 questions based on (Task Environment Skills Tools)

Task
·         Leverage ICT to scale up the quality learning across all subjects
Environment
·         Usage of ICT becomes critical to the support of the learning environment.
Skills
·         Students to achieve learning outcomes through the learning experiences provided through engagement with ICT
Tools
·         This page shows you how to connect your use of Google Scholar with the USQ library.

TEST Component
Analysis
Task
Produce an online artefact that satisfies the requirements of the second part of assignment 1.
Environment
It will be produced on laptop with Smartboard. With a good Internet connection and a range of multimedia software.
Skills
Fairly good technical skills, experience creating powerpoint and online video. Limited skills in making something look well designed
Tools
Websites: Blogger, Wordpress etc.
Infographics etc.: Glogster, Powerpoint, Prezi, etc.
Video: iMovie (Movie Maker), YouTube/Vimeo etc.
Digital storytelling: sort of included in all of the above, but also some interesting other tools, eg. Blending technology in classroom

Another two posts from another USQ students whom had shared regarding Toolbelt theory, do click the link to T.E.S.T shared by Elizabeth (read full post) and www.tenillelicari.wordpress.com

Anyway to understand the TEST framework as we should because it helpes me to construct for my example artefact in the Assignment 1 (as mentioned in StudyDesk Socol's Toolbelt theory uses the TEST (Task Environment Skills Tools) framework)

Online
Artefact
A teacher has just sent home a URL (web-based artefact) that offers to explain why and how the teacher is planning to use ICTs to enhance a child's learning in teaching pedagogical - edc3100-assignment-1-online-artefact
